Job summary

Boston Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac EP Lab on a per diem schedule. The role involves direct perioperative nursing care, patient assessment, medication administration, and coordination with the EP care team to ensure efficient procedural flow.

Ideal candidates have MA RN licensure, 1+ year RN experience, BLS, and ACLS (ACLS in certain units). ICU/EP experience is preferred and moderate sedation experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice professional nursing as an RN in Massachusetts.
• 1+ year RN experience preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification required in certain units.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in the Perioperative Services unit, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, evaluating, and educating patients.
• Communicate with health care team members, patients, and families.
• Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues.
• Update and manage patient records and enter/interprete data.
• Follow nursing guidelines and policies; support quality improvement projects.
