Job summary

Summa Health is seeking a Cardiac Electrophysiologist to join our Heart & Vascular Institute in Akron, Ohio. This nationally recognized program offers a collaborative EP team with extensive capabilities, serving a strong referral network within an integrated health system.

The role focuses on high-volume complex ablations, CRM device implants, laser lead extractions, LAA occlusion devices, and EP consults with cardiology fellows, with an opportunity for NEOMED faculty appointment.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiology and Electrophysiology.
• Completion of Cardiac Electrophysiology fellowship training.
• Unrestricted Ohio licensure or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-volume EP procedures including ablations and device therapies.
• Lead CRM device implants and laser lead extractions where appropriate.
• Collaborate with a team of EP physicians and APPs to deliver patient-centered care.
