Job summary

Methodist Hospital Northeast is seeking an Echo/Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist for PRN coverage. The role performs physician-ordered diagnostic cardiac exams, including echocardiograms and TEEs, under the Non-Invasive Cardiology Manager.

Qualifications

• Registry eligibility for RDCS/RDMS-FE or equivalent (ARDMS/CCI)
• Clinical ultrasound experience or acc. program completion
• Bachelor's degree and related options per ARDMS/CCI eligibility

Responsibilities

• Acquire signed orders and obtain informed consent.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and ensure proper cleaning/maintenance.
• Document studies and communicate results to the physician reading team.
• Assist with TEEs and carotid imaging as required.
• Provide patient preparation and safety during procedures.
