Qualifikationen

• 1–3 years of experience in echocardiography or cardiac sonography.
• RDMS/RDCS certification preferred.
• BCLS certification required within first 7 days of employment.

Aufgaben

• Perform echocardiographic studies including 2-D imaging, M-mode, and Doppler.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Acquire stress echo and Dobutamine images within required timing.
• Assist with transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs).
• Document preliminary reports and patient information in the EMR."
• Verify patient identity, orders, and consents prior to procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams for timely evaluation and interpretation by reading cardiologists.
• Demonstrate age-specific imaging competency.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and work areas.
