Under cardiology leadership, you will ensure high-quality imaging, strict safety protocols, and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Education and Experience: registry eligible for ARDMS or CCI per requirements.
• Multiple registry/education pathways acceptable as outlined in the job posting.
• New hires must meet registry eligibility within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Acquire physician orders and prioritize STAT exams.
• Ensure equipment operation and preventive maintenance.
• Perform echocardiograms (2-D, M-mode, Doppler) and TEEs as assigned.
• Assist with head-up tilt testing and patient prep.
• Obtain carotid images with Doppler and measurements.
• Maintain patient reports per hospital policy and proper data entry.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and department procedures.

Associate’s degree in diagnostic medical sonography or related allied health program

CAAHEP accredited diagnostic medical sonography program

Bachelor’s degree + 6 months ultrasound experience

Bachelor’s degree in sonography/vascular technology

Current Registered Cardiac Sonographer / RCCS / RVS

High school diploma + 2 years on-the-job ultrasound experience

Graduate of non-accredited program with 800 clinical hours
