Job summary

RadNet is seeking an Echocardiography Technologist (PRN) to perform diagnostic echocardiography exams, assist cardiologists, and maintain patient confidentiality. The role requires ARRT(S) and ARDMS certifications (or ARDMS Registry Eligible) with RDCS/RCS certification preferred, CPR, and strong patient care skills.

You will document procedures, manage records, and ensure high-quality imaging.

Qualifications

• Must have ARRT(S) and ARDMS certifications or ARDMS Registry Eligible.
• RDCS or RCS certification required.
• CPR certification required.
• Must maintain licensing and continuing education per regulations.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Detail oriented and highly organized.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiography procedures per department policy and regulatory requirements.
• Assist cardiologist with Echo Stress Test.
• Document and maintain all required records.
• Provide patient education and answer questions about procedures.
• Maintain room readiness and cleanliness; stock supplies.
• Ensure image quality and consult radiologist as needed.
• Releases patient with follow-up information and coordinates scheduling.
