Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health seeks an Echo Technologist to perform noninvasive cardiac ultrasound studies. You will conduct echocardiography including m-mode, 2D, Doppler, and color Doppler, and administer stress echocardiograms under supervision.

The role requires an associate degree or accredited program, ARDMS/RDCS or CCI/RCS accreditation or eligibility, and BLS. At least one year of echocardiography experience is expected, with attention to safety and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Associate degree and/or graduate of an accredited echocardiography program or relevant clinical experience.
• Strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of cardiac anatomy and its diagnostic application.
• BLS certification and ARDMS/RDCS or CCI/RCS accreditation or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiography procedures including diagnostic m-mode, two-dimensional, spectral Doppler and color Doppler.
• Perform stress echocardiograms (exercise/pharmacological) following physician orders.
• Maintain safe testing environment and ensure proper documentation in medical records and logs.
• Communicate findings to cardiology team and coordinate scheduling across sites.
