Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL seeks a diagnostic sonographer to perform echocardiography and vascular ultrasound studies. You will enter patient data, communicate findings to physicians, and help schedule and code procedures while keeping the department safe and organized.

Required are an Associate's in cardiovascular sonography and RDCS/RVT/RCS/RVS certifications with at least 1 year of experience. This is a part-time day shift with strong benefits and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Perform routine and complex echocardiography studies as part of cardiac imaging.
• Operate ultrasound systems and measure anatomy and function per protocol.
• Maintain patient records with accurate demographics and findings.
• Read, write and speak English clearly in a clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex echocardiography and vascular ultrasound studies.
• Enter testing conditions, observations and results into patient records.
• Communicate abnormal findings to reading physicians promptly.
• Set up and adjust imaging equipment; maintain a clean, safe department.
• Maintain supply inventory and assist with scheduling and coding.
