AdventHealth is seeking a skilled ultrasound professional to join our imaging team in Florida. The role focuses on echocardiography and vascular ultrasound, ensuring high-quality scans and accurate patient data.

Responsibilities include operating ultrasound systems, coordinating with physicians, and maintaining a safe, organized department. A preferred Associate's degree with RDCS/RVT/RCS/RVS certification is advantageous, along with basic life support.

Qualifications

• Must perform full range of diagnostic echocardiography and vascular ultrasound procedures.
• Must operate all ultrasound systems and utilize the measurement package.
• Must read, write and speak conversational English.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and complex ultrasound studies, aiding imaging procedures.
• Obtains high-quality scans tailored to patient body habitus.
• Adapts procedures based on patient medical status and available information.
• Enters testing data and demographics into patient records.
• Communicates abnormal findings to physicians and coordinates interpretations.
• Performs scheduling, verification, authorization, coding, billing, and reimbursement activities.
• Sets up and adjusts imaging equipment and transducers for exams.
• Maintains a clean, safe department and stores supplies properly.
• Restocks supplies to maintain proper operating levels.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
