Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking a Per Diem Medical Imaging Technician to perform diagnostic echocardiography and vascular ultrasound procedures. You will adapt procedures to patient needs, enter results into records, and communicate findings to physicians.

The role requires RDCS/RVT/RCS/RVS credentials, BLS, and 1+ year of experience. You will work in a fast-paced imaging department with scheduling and billing responsibilities.

Qualifications

• RDCS, RVT, RCS, and RVS credentials required.
• BLS certification required.
• 1+ year of relevant experience preferred.
• Associate's degree in cardiovascular sonography is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic echocardiogram and vascular ultrasound exams.
• Enter testing data and demographics into patient records.
• Communicate abnormal findings to reading physicians.
• Set up and adjust imaging equipment and transducers.
• Maintain department cleanliness and supply inventory.
• Coordinate scheduling, insurance verification, and billing activities.
