Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System in Braselton, GA, seeks a Cardiac Sonographer to perform 2-D, M-mode, color flow mapping, and Doppler echocardiography across adult and pediatric patients. The role includes education opportunities and CME support.

Required qualifications include a Certificate in Medical Sonography-Cardiac (RDCS or RCS) and BLS; a High School Diploma or GED is required. On-site work with variable shifts.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Medical Sonography-Cardiac (RDCS or RCS) and BLS Certification.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 0–2 years of clinical echo experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document all cardiac ultrasound/echo procedures per department protocol.
• Explain procedures to patient and/or family; ensure comfort and safety.
• Input data in computer to charge/credit patient charges and maintain records.
• Maintain PI documentation and participate in performance improvement activities.
• Keep equipment and supplies stocked and in working order.
