Intermountain Health is seeking an Echo Tech to perform diagnostic cardiac exams under physician direction at St. Mary’s Regional Hospital with rotations to a Cardiology Clinic. The role requires ARDMS/CCI certification and BLS, with a preferred Bachelor’s Degree.

Formación

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography must be held.
• BLS certification required for healthcare providers.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; education from an accredited institution will be verified.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrate technical competence for department-specific protocols.
• Prioritize and schedule exams.
• Coordinate exams with medical staff, physician offices, other caregivers and patients.
• Prepare for exams by confirming patient identity and educating patients and families on procedures.
• Perform ultrasound exams per protocols in a timely manner and ensure safety and comfort.
• Document results and applicable information; apply charge codes for exams and supplies.
• Maintain equipment, work area, and stock supplies; coordinate repairs or supplies as needed.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and participate in continuing education.
