Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Echo Tech to perform diagnostic cardiac exams under physician supervision at St. Mary's Regional Hospital, with rotations to the Cardiology Clinic in Grand Junction.

This full-time position trains in ultrasound protocols and prioritizes patient safety and timely examinations. Candidates must hold ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography and BLS; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate technical competence for department-specific protocols.
• Prioritize and schedule exams.
• Coordinate exams with physicians, staff, and patients.
• Prepare patients and educate on procedures.
• Perform ultrasound exams per protocols and maintain safety.
• Document results and coordinate patient care with physicians and staff.
