Job summary

Tenet Healthcare Corporation is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer for Cardiology at the MI location. The role involves performing non-invasive cardiovascular diagnostics, analyzing results, and assisting with procedures under supervision.

The ideal candidate has an RDCS/RCS credential pathway or registry eligibility, with experience in Echocardiography and Doppler techniques, and will join a team dedicated to high-quality patient care in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in cardiovascular or applied sciences or equivalent.
• Six months experience in Echocardiography, Phonocardiography or related experience preferred.
• Registered or registry-eligible as an RDCS or RCS; ARDMS preferred; must register within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs non-invasive cardiovascular diagnostic evaluations including Stress Echo, Dobutamine and 2-D Echo with Doppler and Color Flow.
• Analyzes test results and determines if additional tests are required for diagnostic accuracy.
• Operates and maintains testing equipment and contributes to quality improvement.
