Job summary

DMC Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital in Commerce Township, MI is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer to perform non-invasive cardiovascular diagnostic evaluations, including 2-D echocardiograms with Doppler and stress tests. The role requires collaboration with physicians and trainees.

Responsibilities include interpreting results, assisting with transesophageal echocardiograms, and contributing to diagnostic accuracy.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in cardiovascular or applied sciences or equivalent.
• Six months experience in echocardiography or related field preferred.
• Registered or registry-eligible as RDCS/RCS with ARDMS/CCI; must be registered within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-invasive cardiovascular diagnostic evaluations including stress echo, dobutamine, 2-D echo with Doppler and color flow.
• Assist with transesophageal echocardiograms under physician supervision.
• Analyze test results and determine if additional tests are needed for accuracy.
