Valley Health is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer to perform echocardiographic procedures that support physicians' diagnostic workups. You will obtain images, prepare patients, and review orders for accuracy in a fast-paced cardiovascular lab.

The role requires ARDMS/CCI certification eligibility, BLS, and 2–4 years of Allied Health training with preference for experienced candidates. This is a full-time, first-shift position in Virginia Beach.

Qualifications

• Proficient in echocardiographic techniques used to diagnose cardiac conditions.
• Ability to communicate with physicians, peers and patients in a professional manner.

Responsabilités

• Performs echocardiographic recordings and images following established procedures.
• Uses echo contrast and stress echocardiography as needed to obtain optimal images for review.
• Explains procedures to patients and prepares them for testing, including monitoring equipment.
• Reviews patient records and orders to ensure appropriate testing and data collection.
• Troubleshoots technique or equipment issues and communicates critical findings to physicians.
