Job summary

Gennte Technologies is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Sonographer to perform comprehensive echocardiography studies and related cardiac diagnostic tests in a hospital setting. You will work closely with physicians, nursing staff, and students to ensure high-quality patient care.

The role requires BLS, and credentialing as a Cardiac Sonographer, with 2 years of hands-on echocardiography experience or completion of a certified program. On-site clinical responsibilities are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer credential required.
• Certification program completion and/or two years hands-on echocardiography experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform transthoracic and advanced echocardiography studies as ordered.
• Conduct related cardiac diagnostic tests (EKG, Holter, stress tests).
• Utilize equipment to provide accurate diagnostic data for cardiology physicians.
• Review scheduling, processing, and charging of studies within hospital systems.
• Maintain infection control practices and aseptic technique.
