Intermountain Healthcare Inc. is seeking an Echo Tech to perform diagnostic cardiac exams under physician supervision. You will ensure safety, accuracy, and timely delivery of study results, supporting patient care across teams.

The role is full-time (40 hours/week) with four 10-hour shifts, on-call duties, and a 30-minute response time. Primary site is St. Mary’s Regional Hospital, Grand Junction, CO, with Cardiology Clinic rotations.

Qualificações

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Competency; demonstrate technical competence for department protocols.
• Prioritize and schedule exams.
• Coordinate exams with medical staff, physician offices, other caregivers and patients.
• Prepare for the exam by following patient identification processes and educating patient and family.
• Perform ultrasound exams consistent with protocols and in a timely manner.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort and achieve quality outcomes.
• Identify patient needs and communicate with physicians and caregivers.
• Document exam results and apply charge codes.
