Intermountain Health seeks an Echo Tech to perform diagnostic cardiac exams under physician supervision at St. Marys Regional Hospital, with rotations to the Cardiology Clinic in Grand Junction.

The role is full-time, 40 hours weekly, four 10-hour shifts (6:30 AM–5:00 PM), Monday–Friday, with on-call responsibilities requiring a 30-minute response time. Certification and BLS are required.

Formación

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrate technical competence for department protocols.
• Prioritize and schedule exams.
• Coordinate exams with medical staff, physician offices, other caregivers and patients.
• Prepare for the exam by educating patient and family and transporting the patient.
• Perform ultrasound exams per related protocols in a timely manner.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort and achieve quality outcomes.
• Identify patient needs and coordinate patient care with physicians and caregivers.
• Document exam results and other needed information.
• Apply charge codes for exams and supplies.
• Maintain equipment, work area, and stock supplies.
• Coordinate repair or supply needs and support quality improvement processes.
• Participate in educational opportunities to develop skills and knowledge.
• Provide education for caregivers, fellows, and students.
