Intermountain Healthcare Inc. is seeking an Echo Tech to perform diagnostic cardiac exams under physician direction. The role is a full-time position with four 10-hour shifts (6:30 AM–5:00 PM, Mon–Fri) and on-call duties requiring a 30-minute response. Primary location is St.

Mary’s Regional Hospital with rotations at the Cardiology Clinic in Grand Junction, CO. Minimum qualifications include ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac/vascular sonography and BLS. A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.

Competenze

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution (preferred).

• Demonstrate technical competence for department-specific protocols.
• Prioritize and schedule exams and coordinate with staff and patients.
• Prepare patients, identify procedures, and transport as needed.
• Perform ultrasound exams in a timely manner and ensure safety.
• Document results and apply correct charge codes.
• Maintain equipment and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Educate caregivers, fellows and students as appropriate.
