The candidate will perform ultrasound exams, coordinate with staff, educate patients, and document results while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifikationen

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.

Aufgaben

• Demonstrate technical competence for department protocols.
• Prioritize and schedule exams.
• Coordinate exams with medical staff, offices, caregivers and patients.
• Prepare for exams by following patient ID processes and educating patients and families.
• Perform ultrasound exams per protocols in a timely manner.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort and achieve quality outcomes.
• Identify patient needs and communicate with physicians and team members during exams.
• Document exam results and needed information.
• Apply appropriate charge codes for exams and supplies.
• Maintain equipment, work area, and stock supplies.
• Coordinate repairs or supply needs through appropriate channels.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and team education.
