Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• BLS for healthcare providers.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate technical competence for department protocols.
• Prioritize and schedule exams.
• Coordinate exams with medical staff, physician offices, other caregivers, and patients.
• Educate patient and family on procedure and transport patient.
• Perform ultrasound exams per protocols and maintain timely service.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort and achieve quality outcomes.
• Document exam results and apply charge codes.
• Maintain equipment, work area, and supplies; assist with repairs and supplies.
