Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Echo Tech to perform diagnostic cardiac exams under physician direction. The role is full-time, with four 10-hour shifts and on-call responsibilities, located primarily at St. Mary’s Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, CO, with rotations to the Cardiology Clinic.

Ideal candidates hold ARDMS/CCI certification and a BLS certification; a Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. Responsibilities include coordinating exams, documenting results, and mentoring staff while

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate technical competence and prioritize exams.
• Coordinate exams with staff, physicians, and patients.
• Perform ultrasound exams per protocols and ensure safety.
• Document results and apply proper charge codes.
• Mentor staff and students on equipment and technique.
• Support quality improvement initiatives.
