Intermountain Healthcare Inc. seeks an Echo Tech to perform diagnostic cardiac exams at St. Mary’s Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, CO, with rotations to the Cardi ology Clinic in Grand Junction.

This full-time role covers 40 hours weekly with four 10-hour shifts (6:30 AM–5:00 PM), rotating days off and on-call duties requiring a 30-minute response. Focus on patient safety and high-quality imaging.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred (accredited institution).

Responsabilités

• Demonstrate technical competence for department protocols.
• Prioritize and schedule exams.
• Coordinate exams with medical staff and patients.
• Prepare for exams by identifying patients and educating them about procedures.
• Perform ultrasound exams per protocols and maintain timely delivery of results.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort and high-quality outcomes.
• Communicate patient needs to physicians and caregivers during exams.
• Document exam results and manage related information.
• Apply correct charge codes for exams and supplies.
• Maintain equipment and work areas; support repair or supply needs.
• Participate in education to develop skills and knowledge.
