Qualifications

• ARDMS registry in Adult Echocardiography required.
• CAAHEP or CMA accredited program with didactic and supervised clinical echo experience.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates patient throughput and enhances satisfaction with testing process.
• Reviews patient chart and history to understand clinical context.
• Positions patient and operates transducers to optimize image quality.
• Records measurements and enters patient information accurately.
• Performs ultrasound procedures including Cardiac Doppler, Color Flow Doppler, 2D Echo, and TEE when applicable.
• Ensures documentation is complete and communicates findings to the interpreting cardiologist.
• Maintains equipment and adheres to safety and privacy protocols.
• Participates in performance improvement activities as directed.
