Job summary

Reliant Medical Group, part of the Optum family, is seeking an Echocardiography Technician to perform heart ultrasounds in the Cardiology department. This role requires RDCS certification and compliance with ICAEL standards. A sign-on bonus of $5,000 is offered.

Qualifications

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification.
• ACLS may be required based on specialty.
• American Heart Association BLS

Responsibilities

• Performs Echocardiograms/Ultrasounds of the heart following standard procedures.
• Documents readings, measurements and technical information into the EMR.
• Dispenses Echocardiogram reports to the assigned Physician for reading and interpretation.
• Ensures ICAEL requirements and standards are met while delivering high-quality patient care.
• Performs patient education following standard procedures.
• Complies with health, safety requirements and with regulatory agencies such as DPH.
• Attends meetings, conferences and seminars as required or directed.
• Performs other similar and related duties as required.
• Regular, reliable and predictable attendance is required.
