Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Lead Cardiac Sonographer to coordinate echo services and lead the echocardiography team. You will perform 2-D, M-Mode, Doppler echo in adult patients, with pediatric experience preferred but not required.

The role includes daily workflow management, staff training, and ensuring high-quality imaging. A "$10,000 Sign-on bonus" is paid in installments, and flexibility for overtime, weekends, and on-call hours is required.

Formación

• Associate Degree of Science.
• Graduate from accredited cardiac ultrasound program.
• Active ARDMS or CCI Echo registry status.
• 3 years hospital-based Doppler echocardiography and stress echocardiography.
• Must demonstrate imaging skills.
• BLS certified.
• Computer aptitude for medical equipment and vitals measurement.
• Flexible scheduling including overtime, weekends, holidays and on-call hours.
• Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Perform inpatient and outpatient echocardiography procedures (2-D, M-Mode, pulsed/continuous wave, color and tissue Doppler).
• Coordinate daily workflow, echo procedure and staffing scheduling.
• Oversee echo staff, new employee and intern training and competencies.
• Assist with inventory management and charge capture.
• Maintain patient safety and quality in accordance with policies.
