Qualifikationen

• Associate degree or echocardiography program graduate with registry eligibility.
• ARDMS/RDCS or CCI/RCS accreditation or accreditation eligible.
• Minimum of one year of echocardiography experience.
• BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Aufgaben

• Performs testing procedures in echocardiography including M-mode, 2D, spectral Doppler and color Doppler.
• Provides diagnostic exercise/pharmacological stress echocardiograms and assists with TEEs as directed.
• Ensures safe testing environment and adheres to policy for contrast administration.
• Documents data in EHR and data interfaces; ensures accurate patient information.
• Coordinates urgent testing with scheduling to meet timeframes and quality standards.
• Assists in training new staff and shares technique knowledge with colleagues.
