Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an Echocardiography Technologist to perform comprehensive noninvasive tests including M‑mode, 2D, spectral and color Doppler. The role includes stress echocardiograms and contributing to accurate cardiology diagnoses.

Experience in echocardiography, appropriate certifications, and strong communication are essential to support safe, high‑quality patient care within the Echo Lab.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or graduate of an accredited echocardiography program or relevant clinical experience resulting in registry eligibility.
• ARDMS/RDCS or CCI/RCS accreditation or accreditation eligible and current BLS certification.
• Strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
• Minimum of one year of experience in echocardiography.

Responsibilities

• Performs all echocardiography testing procedures (M-mode, 2D, spectral Doppler, color Doppler).
• Performs diagnostic exercise/pharmacological stress echocardiograms and provides accurate clinical information for cardiologist diagnosis.
• Responds to Code 99s as required.
• Troubleshoots echocardiography methods and maintains safe testing environment.
• Retrieves and sends data using clinical/financial information systems.
