• Associates or Bachelors degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography required or preferred.
• ARDMS RVT or RDCS certification or CCI RVS/RCS credential required.
• BLS certification required or encouraged depending on policy.

Responsibilities

• Creates a caring and healing environment centered on patient and family.

• Reviews physician orders to ensure correct procedure and patient identification.
• Performs all studies according to policy and procedures; explains procedures to patients.
• Obtains health history and enters data accurately into diagnostic systems.
