Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold valid sonography credential registration (ARRT(S), RDMS, RDCS) through ARRT and/or ARDMS.
• Must be registered in appropriate cardiology specialties within one year of hire.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency echocardiograms (2D/3D, Doppler, TEE, stress) as directed by physicians.
• Record quality information and follow procedural guidelines.
• Explain procedures and potential side effects to patients and families.
• Provide echocardiography service at multiple locations and during variable shifts, including weekends and on-call.
