Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid ARRT(S), RDMS, RDCS registrations through ARRT/ARDMS.
• Must be registered in appropriate cardiology specialties within one year of hire.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates proficiency by performing routine and emergency echocardiograms per protocols.
• Records quality information while imaging and following guidelines.
• Explain procedures and possible side effects to patients.
• Provide echocardiography service at multiple locations including weekends and on-call as scheduled.
• Operate equipment to obtain diagnostic recordings and perform analyses.
• Maintain and troubleshoot echo lab equipment and EMR issues.
