Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a CT Technologist I to perform CT procedures in accordance with departmental protocols and standards. You will operate CT scanners and related equipment with a high level of proficiency, including post-processing stations, IV contrast injectors, monitoring equipment, and patient transport.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and ARRT CT within one year of hire required.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders and contact Radiologist for discrepancies.
• Prepare patients and explain procedures.
• Obtain complete medical history and review EMR for pertinent data.
• Perform CT scanning from start to finish and ensure high-quality images.
• Administer IV contrast per protocol and document administration.
• Maintain sterile technique and radiation safety standards.
• Operate radiology computer system and document procedures.
• Assist in coordinating procedures with other medical personnel.
