Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time CT Technologist I in Kannapolis to perform CT procedures with a high level of proficiency, following departmental protocols and safety standards. You will operate scanners, prepare patients, administer IV contrast, and collaborate with Radiologists for accurate results.

Responsibilities include verifying orders, documenting history, and maintaining all safety and cleanliness procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and advanced registry in CT within 1 year of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners and related equipment according to departmental protocols.
• Verify orders and obtain patient consent and history.
• Prepare patients and explain procedures; document accordingly.
• Administer IV contrast as directed and monitor patient response.
• Identify and correct discrepancies; consult Radiologist as needed.
• Maintain radiation safety practices and proper sterile technique.
• Document procedures and maintain equipment and clean work areas.
