Job summary

Carle Health in Illinois seeks a Cath Lab technologist to assist cardiologists in invasive coronary/vascular/EP procedures, set up and operate imaging equipment, and monitor hemodynamics during procedures.

Must hold Radiologic Technology Certificate with BLS, ACLS within 1 year, ARRT registration, and licensure. Extensive aseptic technique, EKG interpretation, and team collaboration are required for safe patient care.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider certified by AHA.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist - Radiography.
• ACLS within 1 year - AHA.
• ARRT Registered in Radiography.

Responsibilities

• Assist cardiologists in invasive coronary/vascular/EP procedures.
• Set up and operate electrical/imaging equipment and computers.
• Maintain hemodynamic monitoring and interpret data.
• Apply sterile technique and instrument handling for procedures.
• Assist with sedation administration and patient safety during procedures.
• Collaborate with team to ensure accurate documentation and patient care.
