Job summary

St. David's North Austin Medical Center is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join our high-quality team in Pflugerville, TX. You will work with physicians using state-of-the-art cath lab technology to support lifesaving cardiac procedures.

You will assist with angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements, prep patients and families, operate complex equipment, and ensure patient safety in a sterile environment. Comprehensive benefits and strong professional support are provided.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• ARRT-R Radiography or RCIS must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements.
• Prepare and support patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures.
• Operate and maintain advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment.
• Monitor patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care.
• Safeguard a sterile, safe environment while advocating for every patient.
