St. David’s North Austin Medical Center, part of St.

David’s HealthCare, is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join the team that delivers lifesaving cardiac procedures with state-of-the-art cath lab technology. You will assist physicians with angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements, prepare patients and families, operate advanced equipment, and monitor patient responses to ensure safe, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• BCLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• High School Graduate / GED is required.
• ARRT-R Radiography or RCIS must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Assisting physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements.
• Preparing and supporting patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures.
• Operating and maintaining advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment.
• Monitoring patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care.
• Safeguarding a sterile, safe environment while serving as an advocate for every patient.
