Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Radiology Interventional Technologist to assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac, vascular and EP procedures. The role works with physicians, nurses and team members to deliver safe, quality patient care and ensure accurate documentation and imaging storage.

Minimum ARRT or equivalent certification is required; preferred an associate degree and 1 year in a Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, or Radiology.

Qualifications

• Radiography certification and ARRT/CI/CV or Radiography (R) or Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI) certification by ARRT or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist with CVGI.

Responsibilities

• Integrates knowledge of cardiovascular and peripheral vascular physiology, pathophysiology, and procedural techniques; assists accordingly.
• Maintains expertise in current radiographic imagery techniques related to invasive cardiac and peripheral procedures.
• Operates laboratory equipment and troubleshoots malfunctions.
• Assists in monitoring procedural effects by identifying adverse reactions and responding appropriately.
• Completes documentation for procedures, including regulatory, billing protocols and image storage/archival.
