Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking an experienced professional to assist the invasive cardiology team in diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will collaborate with co-workers to ensure efficient, cost-effective departmental functioning.

Responsibilities include maintaining radiographic imaging expertise, orienting staff, monitoring patient reactions, and completing regulatory and billing documentation. A minimum of 3 years in a related lab and ARRT/RCIS certification are required.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in a cardiac cath lab or interventional radiology.
• ARRT certification in CI, CV, Radiography (R) or VI, or RCIS.
• Critical thinking, decisive and independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Assist invasive cardiology procedures and lead in team collaboration.
• Maintain expertise in radiographic imaging for invasive procedures.
• Orient staff on equipment operation and troubleshoot issues.
• Monitor adverse reactions during procedures and respond appropriately.
• Complete procedural documentation for regulatory, billing, and image storage.
