Job summary

Allegheny Health Network seeks an experienced professional to assist the Invasive Cardiologist in diagnostic and interventional procedures, demonstrating leadership and collaboration to ensure efficient, cost-effective department functioning.

This role requires 3+ years in a cardiac cath lab or interventional radiology, ARRT CI/CVIR or radiography credentials, and strong critical thinking. You will adhere to HIPAA and maintain compliant documentation and patient care.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ experience in a cardiac cath lab or interventional radiology.
• ARRT certification in CI, CVIR, Radiography (R) or VI, or equivalent credential.
• Strong critical thinking and independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Integrates knowledge of cardiovascular and peripheral physiology and procedural techniques and assists accordingly.
• Maintains expertise in current radiographic imagery techniques for invasive procedures.
• Orients inexperienced staff on lab equipment operation and troubleshoots malfunctions.
• Anticipates adverse reactions during procedures and responds appropriately.
• Completes required documentation for procedures, billing, image storage and archival.
