Allegheny Health Network is seeking a skilled professional to assist an Invasive Cardiologist in diagnostic and interventional procedures within the cardiovascular lab. The role requires leadership and collaboration with team members to ensure efficient patient care and cost-effective operation.

The position demands at least 3 years in a cardiac cath lab or interventional radiology, appropriate ARRT/IR certifications, and strict adherence to HIPAA and privacy policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a cardiac cath lab or interventional radiology.
• Certification as ARRT - Cardiac Interventional Radiography, CVR, or Radiography (R) or CVI/CI.
• Adherence to HIPAA and company privacy policies.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Invasive Cardiologist during diagnostic and interventional procedures; shows leadership with colleagues.
• Maintains expertise in radiographic imaging techniques for invasive cardiac and peripheral procedures.
• Trains and orients inexperienced staff on laboratory equipment and escalation procedures.
• Monitors for adverse reactions during procedures and responds appropriately.
• Completes required documentation for procedures, including regulatory, billing, and image storage/archive.
