Independence Health System is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist I for their Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory in Greensburg, PA. The role involves recording physiological data, monitoring support, and assisting the cardiologist as scrub staff during procedures.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, ensuring lab readiness, and managing inventory while adhering to safety and hospital policies. Strong communication and clinical skills are essential for patient care and collaboration

Formación

• Completion of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program or completion of an accredited cardiovascular technology program.
• High school diploma, GED or higher.
• One-year experience in cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, and/or radiology lab as a technologist.

Responsabilidades

• Operate, monitor, and calibrate the hemodynamic recorder system and related cardiology lab equipment.
• Assist cardiologists as scrub/ circulator during procedures when trained.
• Maintain clean and ready cardiac catheterization lab; manage supplies and inventory.
• Provide patient/family instruction and coordinate procedures.
• Communicate clearly with team, physicians, and management; document activities.
