Job summary

Allegheny Health Network seeks a radiologic technologist to perform prescribed radiographic imaging procedures and assist physicians during catheterization lab procedures at a technical level under the direct supervision of a technologist.

The role requires independent judgment within documented competency, equipment operation and troubleshooting, timely documentation and image storage, and compliance with HIPAA and the company’s privacy and security policies.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a radiology technologist program and in good standing.
• CPR certification and background clearances required (Act 34, Act 33, Act 73, FBI).
• Experience or training in radiographic imaging procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for and assist in catheterization lab procedures.
• Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment; involve support personnel as needed.
• Assist in monitoring procedural effects and respond to adverse reactions.
• Complete documentation for procedures, including image storage and archiving.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
