Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a radiologic technologist who will perform radiographic imaging and assist physicians during catheterization lab procedures under supervision. The role requires independent judgment within competency, and cross-functional collaboration with clinical teams.

The candidate must be enrolled in a radiology technologist program, possess a high school diploma, and complete required background checks and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Currently enrolled in a radiology technologist program.
• CPR and background clearance requirements (Act 34/33/73/FBI)

Responsibilities

• Prepares for and assists in catheterization lab procedures with knowledge of cardiovascular physiology and procedural techniques.
• Operates and troubleshoots radiology equipment; coordinates with support staff.
• Monitors procedural effects and responds to adverse reactions/conditions.
• Completes documentation for procedures including image storage and archival.
• Other duties as assigned.
