Job summary

University Medical Center of El Paso seeks a skilled Radiology Technologist for the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. You will perform interventional procedures, assist physicians with catheter insertions, and ensure imaging accuracy for cardiac diagnostics.

Two years of cath lab or related experience, ARRT MRT or RCIS/CVT, and current BLS/ACLS are required. Strong data analysis and interdisciplinary collaboration are essential in this fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in Cardiac Catheterization, Interventional Radiology or Neuro Intervention.
• ARRT MRT with licensure, or RCIS/CVT.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Associate's degree in Radiology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs a wide range of cardiac interventional procedures with X-rays and angiograms in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, assisting the Cardiovascular physician by catheter insertion and diagnostic imaging.
• Develops and monitors department systems and coordinates activities to improve quality of patient care.
• Uses data analysis for benchmarking and works with the Cardiovascular Medical Director on performance improvement data collection and presentation.
