Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
Current Texas MRT License certification.
BLS within 30 days of hire.
Ability to perform portable and/or surgical radiologic and EC procedures.

Responsibilities

Prepare patients for catheterization procedures and assist attending physicians.
Monitor patient hemodynamics, record data, and generate reports when not scrubbed into a procedure.
Set up and operate diagnostic equipment in each room and rotation after training.
Maintain sterile environment and arrange instruments, equipment, and supplies.
Assist in transportation of patients and housekeeping within the department.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and standards (DNV, JCAHO).
Maintain inventory and collaborate with department staff.
Demonstrate infection control and universal precautions.
Take accurate ECG lead placements and monitor hemodynamic data.
Assist in maintaining hemodynamic equipment and report malfunctions.
