Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing – Cath Lab in El Paso, TX is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment. The role supports diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, prepares patients and equipment, and collaborates with physicians and the clinical team to ensure safety and high-quality care.

Requires 1 year of Cath Lab experience, BLS, ACLS, and ARRT/RCIS/RCES certifications; a radiologic technologist license is preferred.

Qualifications

One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification.
Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents; operate fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
Operate and maintain imaging equipment, contrast injectors, and hemodynamic monitoring systems.
Scrub in and assist with sterile field setup; ensure adherence to infection control protocols.
Maintain accurate documentation including patient records and equipment logs.
