Job summary

University Medical Center of El Paso is seeking a Radiology Technologist I to perform a wide range of radiology procedures on patients of varying ages in the department.

You will assist with the development and monitoring of department systems and coordinate activities that improve patient care in the department. A Texas MRT, ARRT-R credential, and active BLS certification are required; an Associate degree in Radiologic Technology is mandatory.

Qualifications

• One year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.
• Texas MRT license required.
• ARRT-R registration required.
• Active BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs a wide range of radiology procedures on patients of varying ages.
• Completes all associated tasks and responsibilities necessary to manage patient care needs while the patient is in department for procedures.
• Assists with the development and monitoring of department specific systems and in the coordination of activities that improve the quality of patient care in the department.
