Job summary

HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital is seeking a Cardiovascular Technician II to join our Cardiac Cath Lab team. You will assist in scrubbing, circulating, recording and monitoring patient status to ensure optimal outcomes during interventional procedures.

Qualified candidates have ACLS and BLS certifications (or BLS/ACLS Instructor cards from AHA or ARC), plus RCIS certification or graduation from an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program with at least two years in a licensed field and one

Qualifications

• ACLS certification required.
• BLS certification required (or BLS ACLS Instructor – all cards by American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
• Two years experience in a licensed field and one year in a cardiac cath lab.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all Cardiac Cath Lab procedures including scrubbing, circulating, recording and monitoring patient status to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Support team during interventions and maintain patient safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and technologists to ensure efficient lab workflow.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The cardiovascular technologist assists with all procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab including scrubbing, circulating, recording and monitoring patient status to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required; or BLS, ACLS Instructor all cards issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

• Two years experience in licensed field and one year cardiac cath lab experience

• Graduate of an accredited School of Cardiovascular Technology and/or RCIS certification

HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital is a 221-bed acute care hospital. We serve the communities of Seminole and West Volusia County.
