Job summary

HCA Florida Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville seeks a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join a team delivering advanced care during lifesaving cardiac procedures. You will guide patients and families, ensure precision in treatment, and work with the latest cath lab technology to provide high-quality, compassionate care.

Role involves assisting in angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements, with a strong focus on safety and patient advocacy in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification within 30 days of employment.
• RT/Radiologic Technologist or RCIS certification within 1 year of start date.
• Bachelor's or Associate degree required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with cardiac and vascular procedures (angiograms, angioplasties, stent placements).
• Prepare and support patients and families before, during, and after procedures.
• Operate and maintain advanced equipment for safe treatment.
• Monitor patient responses with vigilance and compassion.
• Maintain a sterile environment and advocate for every patient.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements
• Preparing and supporting patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures
• Operating and maintaining advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment
• Monitoring patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care
• Safeguarding a sterile, safe environment while serving as an advocate for every patient

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer, or (RCIS) Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
• Bachelors Degree, or Associate Degree
